Suzi and the Hotlicks formed early in 2007, performing their first gig at Romford Golf Club for a Motor Neurone Charity function. Subsequent bookings included open-air sets at toot Hill Golf Club and the Bandstand at Southwark Park'

In July 2008, the band appeared at the NCC Herts 11th Custom & Classic Bike Show, returning once more to the Southwark Park Bandstand in July 2009 opening "The Event at Southwark Park" festival.

2009 continued to be a busy year, culminating in their New Year's Eve appearance at the Doctor's Tonic, Welwyn Garden City. 2010 was even busier, ending with New Year's Eve at the Wheatsheaf, Enfield - the band's most popular venue.
